(*Application Required) The 29th BIFF Opening, Closing Ceremony / ACA & G.OTT Awards Photo Wall Pass Application Instructions

We are accepting applications for photo wall access passes for the press covering the 29th Busan International Film Festival Opening, Closing Ceremony, and Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT (ACA & G.OTT) Awards. Please note that the pass cannot be issued on-site. Please submit your application within the application period by following the guide below.

Those who receive the photo wall pass for the opening, and the closing ceremony can also access the photo wall and drop zone of the ACA & G.OTT Awards.

▣ Opening, Closing Ceremony/ ACA & G.OTT Awards Photo Wall Access Pass

- The photo wall access pass for the opening and closing ceremonies/ ACA & G.OTT Awards grants exclusive access to the photo wall set up at the BIFF Theater of the Busan Cinema Center.

- The pass is only valid on the day of opening and closing ceremonies/ ACA & G.OTT Awards and can be applied alongside the Press T (Technician) badge.

▣ Eligibility

- Photographers and video journalists from certified domestic and international media organizations

▣ Application Period and Guide

▣ Photo Wall Lottery

Photography and video coverage in the press zone in front of the photo wall is only permitted for those with a photo wall access pass. The seating in the press zone in front of the photo wall will be assigned through a numbered lottery.

▣ Drop Zone Coverage Area

- Drop Zone is the press zone located between the Guest Drop Zone and the Double Cone

- Photography and video coverage in the Drop Zone are only permitted for those with a Press T (Technician) badge.

- Seating in the Drop Zone will be assigned through a lottery for Press T (Technician) badges on the opening day.

▣ Photo Wall Access Pass Issuance Regulations

- Due to the limited capacity, access passes will be issued for one photographer and one video journalist per media outlet to ensure efficient coverage. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement the following regulations.

『Busan International Film Festival Opening, Closing Ceremony/ Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards Photo Wall Access Pass Issuance Regulations』

(1) Applications for and issuance of Photo Wall and Drop Zone access passes are available only to photographers and video journalists with a PRESS T (Technician) badge. Coverage journalists are excluded from this issuance.

(2) The issuance regulations for photo wall and drop zone access passes are based on the history of attendance at previous Busan International Film Festivals (as indicated by the press badge) and the frequency of coverage and exposure of the festival.

(3) Media outlets that covered both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies in the previous year will be given priority for photo wall access pass issuance for 2024.

(Media outlets covering both Opening and Closing Ceremonies this year will be given priority next year)

(4) If there is a history of applying for but not collecting a photo wall access pass in previous years, there may be disadvantages in the issuance this year.

▣ Important Notes

- The Photo Wall access pass for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies is only valid on the day of the events.

- The Photo Wall access pass is only for the Photo Wall of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, it does not permit the viewing of the opening and closing films or coverage inside the venue.

- The Photo Wall access pass for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies does not allow access to other event areas (such as the Asia Contents & Film Market, Video Library, press conferences, Press Center, GV, seminars, etc.).

- However, the Press Center can be used on the day of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

- The Photo Wall access pass for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will not be issued on-site.

- Only those with the Opening and Closing Ceremonies Photo Wall access pass can access the ACA & G.OTT Photo Wall.

- Access to the ACA & G.OTT Photo Wall is only available to those who have purchased ACA & G.OTT tickets.
