Press Badge

Press badges are granted to media professionals affiliated with established Korean and international media outlets (e.g., press agencies, print media including magazines, television, online press) to assist in their coverage of the festival and market.

NOTICE

The 28th Busan International Film Festival strictly abides by the safety guidelines provided by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In accordance with the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, additional documents may be requested prior to picking up the badges (※ Further detail to be provided)
We kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding for a safe film festival.

Press Badge Type

Press

For media professionals affiliated with established Korean and international media outlets(e.g., press agencies, print media including magazines, television, online press)

  • - Correspondents and editors for news agencies, newspapers, and online publication
  • - TV and Radio program planners, writers and reporters
  • - Film critics, writers and reporters who are either employed by or regularly contribute to established media outlets (must have been active within the past year)

※ Only Press T (Technician) badge holders are eligible for Opening/Closing Ceremony Photo Zone passes.

Press T (Technician)

For technical personnel from media organizations and outsourced production companies

  • - Photo and video journalists, camera operators and assistants, and technical crew members responsible for microphone operation, sound, audio,lighting, editing, and related tasks

※ Only Press T (Technician) badge holders are eligible for Opening/Closing Ceremony Photo Zone passes.


Required Documents

  • 1. A copy of the business card
    2. Proof of media activity (choose one of the following) :
  • 1) A link to a published article within the past year
    2) A link to or screenshot of, program credits within the past year
  • 3. For first-time applications only: A letter of recommendation signed by the editor-in-chief or desk editor (↓ Download Form)

Who is Not Eligible?

  • Administrative staff not directly involved in reporting (e.g., operations, management, marketing, accountants, secretaries, protocol officers, drivers, etc.)
  • Staff of affiliated agencies and outsourcing service providers performing non-editorial duties.
  • Independent social media creators, personal bloggers, or social media influencers who are only active on social media
