The 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is now accepting applications for Press Badges for members of the media covering the festival.
General registration opens from July 6 (Mon) to September 14 (Mon) at 18:00 KST through the BIFF official website (https://www.biff.kr/eng/). After this period, Press Badge applications will only be accepted on-site during the festival at an administrative fee of KRW 50,000.

- Two types of press badges are available: Press and Press T (Technician).
- Only one press badge will be issued per person. (Dual issuance of both types is not permitted)

|
▣ Required Documents for Press Badge Issuance
|
|
|
1. A copy of the business card
2. Proof of media activity (choose one of the following):
1) A link to a published article within the past year
2) A link to or screenshot of, program credits within the past year
3. For first-time applications only: A letter of recommendation signed by the editor-in-chief or desk editor (Download form) |

▲: Access to certain photo zones requires an additional pass (e.g. the Opening/Closing Ceremony photo zone).
※ It is not possible to enter the Opening/Closing Ceremony photo zone with a Press or Press T badge. Detailed information on ceremony passes will be announced separately. Only Press T badge holders are eligible to apply. |

- Administrative staff not directly involved in reporting (e.g., operations, management, marketing, accountants, secretaries, protocol officers, drivers, etc.)
- Staff of affiliated agencies and outsourcing service providers performing non-editorial duties.
- Independent social media creators, personal bloggers, or social media influencers who are only active on social media

- All registration must be completed by September 14 (Mon) 18:00 (KST). Applicants may modify the personal information until September 14 (Mon) 18:00 KST. Changes cannot be made after the deadline.
- Intentional misstatements of personal information or failure to meet the festival’s press accreditation criteria may lead to your application being rejected. Notification will be sent through e-mail or text message under these circumstances.
- Applicants who have previously failed to collect an approved Press Badge and attend the festival may be deemed ineligible for future Press Badge accreditation.
